Every guide follows the distillery from design to safety

Each use case is traced through all five stages of the vessel's life, then broken down part by part, with a worked example and the decisions that stay with the master distiller, the compliance manager, or the excise regulator such as TTB or HMRC.

AI in the craft distilleries industry: common questions

How is AI used in craft distilleries?

AI in craft distilleries reads still temperatures, ABV readings, fermentation data, warehouse sensors, lab results, and gauge records to flag cut point drift, contamination, cask losses, and compliance gaps early. It supports mashing, distillation, maturation, bottling, and reporting, while the master distiller keeps the final decisions.

Where should a craft distillery start with AI?

Start with one process that already produces data and costs money when it goes wrong, such as fermentation gravity tracking, pot still cut points, or cask inventory and gauging. Prove it on one still or one warehouse, then extend it across the site.

Does AI replace the master distiller?

No. AI watches more runs, casks, and records than a small team can, and drafts the alert, batch record, or report. The master distiller still makes the cuts, blends, and release calls, and the excise regulator still approves permits, labels, and returns.

Distillery owners, master distillers, and warehouse managers bring me the problem that keeps costing them yield, lost casks, or excise headaches. We map it to one system you can ship.
